APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023 Eligibility

APSSC Group 2 Education Qualification as (07/12/2023)

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university is must to be eligible to apply for APPSC Group 2 Vacancies.

APPSC Group 2 Age Limit

The Age of the candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 42 years to be eligible for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023. Age relaxation will be provide to the reserved categories.as per the government rules and regulations.

APPSC Group 2 Upper Age Relaxation

APPSC Group 2 Selection Process 2023

The Candidate will be selected for APPSC Group 2 Services through Prelims, Mains, and computer proficiency tests. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is of Screening type and the final merit list will comprise of the mark obtained by the candidates in the mains exam. The candidates who got qualified in all stages will be called for a document verification round.

APPSC Group 2 Recuritment 2023 Exam Pattern

The COmmission has revised the APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern for each stage in the selection process. The candidates planing to appear for upcoming APPSC Group 2 2023 Exam must be familiar with the latest Prelims and Mains Exam pattern. APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern

1. APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is the Screening stage for only shortlisting candidates for the main exam.
2. The exam includes 150 multiple Choice Questions (MCQS).
3. Now APPSC Group 2 Prelims has questions from General Studies and Mental Ability.
4. The Topics from General Studies include Indian History, Geography, Indian Society, and Current Affairs. There will be 30 questions from each section.
5. There is a negative marking 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
6. The time duration of the test will be 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

APPSC Group 2 Mains Exam Pattern

1. The Exam has 2 papers, each carrying an equal weight of 150 marks.
2. All the questions are objective type. The level of questions is ismilar to bachelor’s degree.
3. Each question carries 1 Mark.
4. A negative marking scheme of 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.

APPSC Group 2 Computer Proficiency Test

1. The Exam has 2 parts. Each tests a particular area of commputer skills of the aspirants.
2. The candidates will get 60 minutes to attempt the exam.
3. It is a practical exam.
4. Minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH is 30, for BC is 35 and for OC is 40.

The candidates are required to pay the applicaion fee by online mode for the successful submission of their application form. Candidates belonging to the General Category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 360/-where as candidates belonging to SC, ST, BC, PH& Ex-Service Men Categories will be paying Rs. 110/-as an application fee. Step -1 APPSC Group 2 OTPR Process

1. Visit the official webisite of APPSC at https://psc. ap.gov. in.
2. Click on the “Direct Recruitment” >> “New Notification” link
3. Click on New Registration and fill in the details as required. One should fill in all the details very carefully.
4. The details on the registraion page include aadhar number, name, birth detailed address, email ID, mobile number, education, details.
5. Upload a photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 50kb, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and signature (JPG/JPEG format, 30kb, 3.5cm x 1.5 cm) in the mentioned format.

Step 2- Submit Application form

1. The Candidate need to login to the webiste using the ID and password created
2. Now the candidate needs to click on application submission and log in using the official ID and password.
3. Now after login, the candidate need to fill in the remaining details carefully.
